ONLY ONE on the Zambezi River (in Zambia)
While camping along the Zambezi River in Zambia, a crash of hippos passed under my tent around 4am. Obviously this was a bit startling to say the least. Anxious from the hippos lingering, I finally peeked out the tent to see the fog rolling along with the current of the Zambezi River, just a few miles upstream from Victoria Falls. What caught my attention was this little broken tree, holding strong against the current. The sunrise illuminated the leaves to reveal the tree’s beauty of frailty and strength.
