The Silos at Sawyer Yards will feature Real / Surreal Juried Exhibition. Curated and juried by Carolyn Garcia of Carolyn Garcia Gallery in the museum district which has featured established and emerging artists connected to Texas since 2004.

This Exhibition is about the Real and Surreal in art. Real images of people, places and things will be shown alongside expressions of the unconscious and work that abstracts the real as surreal.

Fatima Donaldson's DANCING PETALS series was selected as part of the Real/Surreal Exhibit.

Flowers dancing in the breeze. We should all be so lucky. 


All events are free and open to the public Monday - Saturday 9 AM - 5 PM. Exhibition on view May 12 - August 19, 2018.

Fatima is a creative director who brings her skills and expertise to help artists and art businesses grow. She leverages all the available tools at her disposable to maximize visibility, presence, and brand to translate into success for the artists in creation, motivation, exhibition and sales of the artwork and the art business. She is the founder of The Art Nexus - a virtual artist community - whose mission is to eradicate the starving artist.  At the core of all efforts with clients and members alike, is to educate the “what and why” so that clients are in a cycle of constantly growing their body of work as well as their art business.  We strongly believe in and execute all projects with a team attitude - working along side our clients so they can shine.
